The Missions and Charity Ministry of IPC Orlando is to carry forward the Great Commission through support and personal involvement with Missionaries and their efforts. The goal and mission of the Mission’s Team of IPC Orlando is to endeavor to be obedient to the words of our Lord when He said: Go ye into the entire world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15).
Our Vision
“In obedience to the command of our Lord, we, the IPC Orlando church has resolved to co labor with Jesus Christ in connecting the lost world to The Almighty Father, by proclaiming His Word, sharing our blessings, and participating in their world. We want to transform the world by saving human spirits, renewing their souls and rejuvenating their bodies”
IPC Orlando has been involved in the mission activity commanded by the Lord in a very limited sense for several years, namely funding few evangelists in Kerala, India. In the Year 2010, church has formed a Mission and Charity Team (MCT) with the special focus of involving in the kingdom building of our Lord in a bit more serious manner. As such The Church felt the advantage of working with a credible mission agency/partner and also sensed the practical difficulties of going alone into any area. We want to have a meaningful part in the mission and are not satisfied to just fund any existing work.
We have solicited more information from many mission agencies currently serving in different states of North India. Also, we have evaluated the experience from our church members who had an opportunity to witness the need and the deplorable condition of some of these regions first hand. After much prayer, discussion and gathering information, we have identified one least evangelized state of India as the future Mission field of IPC Orlando. After selecting this north Indian state, we also have identified 2 credible mission agencies that are already working in these areas and they are open and willing to join hands with us in reaching these people for the Lord.
Several of our missionaries are actively working in remote villages of North India. Missions and Charity Team has many future plans for upcoming year. To accomplish any of this future and current plans, we need your prayers and support. Each person has talents, skills, and a certain level of resources that are given by God. The work that we are engaged in is not the mission of a few people; it is the mission of all of God’s children. We need your help with both your talents and financial gifts in order to accomplish this mission. We would not able to achieve anything without your prayers, encouragement and sacrificial giving. We are empowered together with the scriptural principle that says, “One can chase a thousand but two can chase ten thousand”. Let us work together for the glory of God and the expansion of His kingdom.
